Well done to our very own Mitch Capper, who was awarded Site Hand of the Year at the 2023 CCF NSW People Awards. Mitch started with Cherrie Civil Engineering in 2017 as a Level 1 Construction Worker and has worked his way up to Civil Site Hand. In the last year, Mitch’s role has grown to supervising his own projects, as well as supporting a larger team on bigger projects.
Mitch is a natural leader who inspires his team to perform at their best. His ability to motivate and empower his crew has increased productivity and employee satisfaction.
When Mitch first started with us he was also completing his degree in Marine Science but since finishing his studies, he has decided that he “loves dirt”! Great work and congratulations Mitch!
