Role Description:
This is a full time on site role for a skilled, experienced Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our continued success. You will be required to have a tertiary qualification and a minimum of five years’ experience working in Australia as a Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organisation & Planning:
- To actively participate in the development of survey objectives with the project team.
- To co-ordinate survey resources efficiently and in a timely manner to meet those objectives.
- Formal Communication:
- Maintain regular interaction with the project team to ensure clarity on job requirements and provide clear instructions to direct reports.
- Provide clear sketches, plans, and/or other setout details as required for the works.
- Provide information (including plans and digital data) as required for presentation to the client.
- Safety in the Workplace: Understand and comply with Health & Safety regulations, report incidents, and recommend site safety improvements.
- Environmental Controls: Familiarise yourself with Environmental Legislation and Regulations to ensure compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure understanding and adherence to relevant quality requirements and maintain the proper storage, maintenance, and calibration of survey equipment.
- Human Resources Development: Identify training needs and skill gaps among direct reports to enhance their capabilities.
To be considered for this role the applicant must:
- Tertiary surveyor qualification
- Currently reside in Sydney and be able to travel across sites.
- Minimum of five years experience.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction and measurement.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in computer applications.
