Description of project: The second major stage of the Coonara Avenue subdivision, CCE progressed uphill for stage 2 continuing to install services, stormwater, retaining walls and roads in the Housing Central area as shown in the above diagram.
CCE excavated and constructed all in-ground structural elements in the Apartments area including pad footings, lift and stair core structures
Scope:
Bulk excavation of over 100,000m3 including off-site disposal
Bulk filling of over 70,000m3 for future residential homes
Construction of 250+ foundation piles
Detail excavation of 100,000m2 of house lots and pavements
Construction of future road pavements for residential roads
Co-ordination and installation of stormwater, OSD tanks and infrastructure services including potable water, sewer, electrical, private street lighting and communication lines
Value of Contract: $16.6 million
