Description of project: CCE were engaged to carry out bulk and detail excavation, remediation and piling activities to facilitate the construction of six new school buildings.
Scope:
Tree removal and demolition
Cut to fill and construction of containment cells to allow asbestos containing materials and general solid waste to remain on site
Bulk excavation of 10,000m3
Foundation piling for all buildings – 450+ piles
Detail excavation for all six buildings
Design and construction of shotcrete contiguous shoring wall including shotcrete and bracing
Design and installation of OSD tank
Diversion of Sydney Water sewer asset with construction of additional manholes, under boring and temporary shoring
Value of Contract: $8 million
