Description of project: Cherrie Civil Engineering were engaged by Gazcorp to undertake Bulk earthworks and civil works for a large scale industrial subdivision ‘Momentum Industrial Estate’ located on Wallgrove Rd in Horsley Park.
The works included installation of new sewer up to 17m below ground level, new stormwater and water infrastructure.
Scope:
Bulk Earthworks – cut to fill of 950,000m3 with cuts up to 19m
Design and construction of 2,500m2 soil nail and shotcrete retaining wall over 18m high
Installation of 1.5km new sewer infrastructure, of which 1km was bored up to 17m deep
Installation of 1.7km Stormwater infrastructure
Estate Roads 1.5km
Potable Water
Electrical + Streetlighting
Swale construction and land remediation
Value of Contract: $23 million
