CCE were engaged to complete stage 1 works including the site wide clearing and grubbing, compound setup and bulk and detail excavation works for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Australian Border Force (ABF) building slabs for the new Western Sydney Airport.
As part of these stage 1 works CCE also completed the site wide stormwater drainage, the installation of a concrete sleeper retaining wall, the construction of an explosive magazine earth mound, and the road pavement for the Canine Facility.
Stage 2 works include the completion of all kerbs and gutters, installation of final footpaths and ramps, installation of final asphalt road pavement, line marking and signage to provide a fully operational facility.
CCE were engaged to carry out bulk and detail excavation, remediation and piling activities to facilitate the construction of six new school buildings.
Cherrie Civil Engineering were engaged by Mirvac Projects to undertake a bulk excavation, foundation concrete construction and land sub-division for the construction of over 200 houses and over 250 apartments.
The Cumberland West Mental Health Early Works project (CWMH Early Works) forms part of the Westmead Health and Education Precinct redevelopment. CCE were engaged by Roberts Co to complete the complex task of constructing building foundations, concrete retaining walls, temporary shoring, hydraulic diversions including significant underbore works within a site heavily contaminated with friable asbestos and within a live hospital environment.
The Nielsen Park Seawall project at Shark Beach, delivered by Cherrie Civil Engineering for the National Parks and Wildlife Service, revitalized one of Sydney Harbour’s most cherished swimming spots. The original 1930s seawall, damaged by storms in 2016, required a comprehensive rebuild involving the reconstruction of the seawall bleachers, promenade and landscaping environment.
Cherrie Civil Engineering were engaged by Roberts Co to complete the civil earthworks, CFA piling, handling and disposal of contaminated fills, D&C sheet pile shoring, OSD tank installation and FRP of footings.
Cherrie Civil Engineering were engaged by Mirvac Constructions to provide a design and construct solution for the remediation, bulk earthworks and foundation construction of the Waverley Bowling Club.
Cherrie Civil Engineering were contracted by the Australian Botanic Gardens Trust to upgrade a series of dilapidated footpaths in and around various endangered and highly sensitive flora and fauna in the Botanic Gardens Mount Annan Grounds.
Lowering of Hospital Road to facilitate access to the new Randwick IASB development. The project included a complex sequencing of diverting, replacing and amplifying existing live hospital and public service infrastructure whilst maintaining critical services to a functioning hospital.
The Nepean Private Hospital project involves the remediation of an existing parcel of land by creating an onsite containment cell and localised asbestos soil removal. Once remediated, an on-grade carpark was constructed as well as structural piles and detail excavation.
